Massive overhaul to strife specibi. As follows:
- 2x3dent, +1 size to all but Culling Cycle.
- 2xAxe, Rend now has +STR appended.
- 2xDagger, +1 size to all but Execute.
- 2xShield, +1 size to Arc, Beatdown (renamed Smack). Aegis now applies to all block dice.
- Axe, gains trait for +Q to Assail.
- Bostaff, +1 size to all.
- Chainsaw, trait now inflicts Doom (2Q), and also applies on Cripple and Weaken.
- Dagger, +1 size to all but Execute. Gained Shiv abilitech, melee attack with advantage.
- Dualhook, grappling also inflicts DoT (Q) for duration of grapple.
- Fist, Haymaker replaced with Hook for a reaction attack, Headbutt replaced with Hail of Blows as a momentum attack.
- Grave, +1 size to Topple, Crash, Crack. Gains trait for +1 size to next abilitech after using a non-damaging major action.
- Hammer, gains trait for +Q to Assail.
- Hookchain, grappling also inflicts DoT (Q) for duration of grapple.

- Momentum abilitech type introduced, to generalize the mechanic where the abilitechs starts with two low-damage attacks but makes more attacks the longer it’s used, up to five attacks.
- Beamkind specibus added, an Encore-based ranged specibus.
- Guitar reworked so its minor action abilitechs are more universally useful.
- Sword:
- Cutting Strike changed to inflict DoT instead of a Cripple when it already had one.
- Perfect Cut also allows movement after the abilitech concludes.
- Bot:
- Claymore damage increased to Qd10.
- Bear Trap damage reduced to Qd4, but Stuck duration raised to 3 rounds.
- Poison Dart damage reduced to Qd4, but Impair duration raised to 3 rounds.
- Explicitly a placeholder fix to make Botkind more usable while a full rework goes under consideration.
- Gore from Chainsaw reduced to Cripple (10), but damage raised to Qd8.
- Shank from Dagger raised to Qd3 damage.
- While cleaning up all the Cripple (half) abilitechs being a cheap fix for removing Clipped or the like, Dagger seemed like it should keep the extra 5 ft. Cripple given its low damage output in the first place. More stabby.
- Cutting Strike from Rapier changed to inflict DoT instead of Cripple.
- Slug Shot from Shotgun had its Cripple removed, now Dazes for 2 rounds and had damage raised to Qd4 damage.
- Clamp Command from Saddlekind now uses your Animal Handling instead of your Athletics.
- 5 ft. range limit in grappling abilitechs abolished in Whip, Saddle, Puppet, Dualhook, and Hookchain, given the accompanying new rules on grappling.
- Bow and Rifle had their line attacks hit the first five targets instead.
- Rationale is, realistically speaking, how many targets did you get to line up in the first place anyway? Just raise it to five.

Overhaul, too much has changed to go over each change in detail.
- New tags:
- Esoteric tag added to certain weapons to let them be used with other stat mods. Guitarkind with Charisma is a prime example, given that the guitar is fully Charisma now for all the bards of a certain disposition.
- Combo tag expanded. In general, any two combo abilitechs or subpowers can be combined for your major and minor.
- Control tag added to take all the rules that govern how puppetkind and saddlekind work and makes them generalized. A lot of the fine print that cluttered up those specibi are now here.
- Damage dice scaling redone. The scaling is hard-capped at 2d12, and you just add your Level or twice your Proficiency to the damage roll for any dice size bonuses beyond this. Now no one need fear the 4d8 scaling, or gods forbid, the dreaded 8d8 damage dice.
- Special exception made for certain 3dX dice, which are unique to execute-type abilitechs. These are hard-capped at 3d12, and only dice whose base started at 3dX can reach this; in no way can other dice ever break into the 3dX sizes.
- Melee weapons:
- Execute (extra damage against Exposed, Prone, or Stuck), Dive (full-round action for extra damage or a condition), and Trample (full-round action to move a bit, then basic attack everyone on the line) type abilitechs are a bit more common.
- On that note, we’ll be monitoring this. Such abilitechs being more common means we might be able to use them in Paths.
- But also, Protag already has a Trample-esque Step. We’ll see about either replacing this or having it build on it (niche, but who knows).
- Some specibi have +1 die size against Clipped, Crippled, or Impaired targets, often on finesse weapons. Others reward you for lunging at your target, which is to say, moving 20 feet towards them prior to attacking. You’ve seen this in a specibi or two and in specializations before, we’re systemizing this.
- Execute (extra damage against Exposed, Prone, or Stuck), Dive (full-round action for extra damage or a condition), and Trample (full-round action to move a bit, then basic attack everyone on the line) type abilitechs are a bit more common.
- Ranged weapons:
- Double/Triple Taps (make multiple basic attacks at disadvantage) and Mawp (as the old HWG Step) abilitechs are a bit more common.
- Special weapons:
- Utter grab bag. There’s all manner of abilitechs around here. We might decide they should be generalized and systemized like the previous categories’ abilitechs in a year from now, but for the time being we’re content to let them go as is and individually update them as needed.
- Noteworthy changes but the descriptions get increasingly unable to give a [censored]:
- 2xshields is now the bastard child of Bostaff’s super combo moveset and Shield’s blocks.
- Hookchain and dual hooks can now yeet people.
- Like with WotE and Trample, this and Fling are due for a reckoning due to shared spaces.
- Morningstar for those of you who believe Impairment should last for 3 rounds.
- Scythe downgraded its triple Rupture stacking for more grim reaper jokes.
- Shovels unfortunately still exist.
- Whipkind for those of you who believe in conditions lasting 3 rounds but think charging up as a major action is for losers.
- Or the literally none of you who seem to be into Castlevania.
- Boomerangs finally make sense.
- Bows no longer have flimsy range.
- LASER BEAM DREAM TEAM
- Pistols now 25% more effective for recreating Sterling Archer, which is not a valid troll name.
- Revolvers are versatile now. Why does two-handing a gun make it hit harder? Just go with it, do you want your Qd10 basic or not?
- “No merc, the gun knows.”
- Scrap shotguns given their own schtick of possibly experimental weaponry that will blow up on you at the worst possible time because the dicebot hates you.
- Bikes exist. Spamming Initial D in the bup is discouraged.
- Akira quotes, however, are slightly less discouraged.
- Bots are what was left after all the unusable parts of Traps were removed and reworked. Hope you like your death roombas.
- If alchemy ideas for this don’t have you consulting Saw, that’s perfectly valid.
- Fncysnta will eat your babies, then heal you for it.
- Leashes for the people who weren’t satisfied with Companion as a Pokemon expy.
- Puppets know how to hold you now.
- And have different notes because lolcal.
- Saddles redone because we can’t be DnD, but we believe you should be able to feed imps to your horse.
- For legal reasons, RPGStuck does not actually endorse feeding imps to your horse in a sadistic game show routine.
- Tomes completely redone so people still won’t take it but for completely different reasons.
- Wands redone so that shotguns, spears, scythe, pickaxes, and literal chainsaws are worse at Rupturing someone than literally pointing and laughing at them. Also you can dab on them to death.
- Vicious mockery lives.
